The Center for Energy Education and Renewable Energy Farmers of America invite landowners, farmers, and community stakeholders to join an upcoming live webinar focused on renewable energy lease education and landowner preparedness.

The webinar will be held June 25 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Registration information can be scanned from the attached flier.
“As renewable energy development continues to expand across rural communities, many landowners are being approached with opportunities involving solar and other renewable energy projects,” C4EE said. “Understanding the leasing process and knowing what questions to ask before signing an agreement is more important than ever.”
This educational session will feature agricultural attorney Brianna Schroeder, who will provide insight into renewable energy lease negotiations from a landowner-focused legal perspective.
The session will be moderated by Jeff Risley, executive director of Renewable Energy Farmers of America, and Lisa Dan, Midwest community outreach director, for C4EE.
Grid resilience and extreme weather
On June 30 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., C4EE will hold a webinar exploring how energy solutions can help communities prepare for, respond to, and recover from power disruptions.
“As communities across the country face increasing challenges from hurricanes, severe storms, and other extreme weather events, energy resilience has never been more important,” C4EE said.

Michelle Moore, CEO of Groundswell, will be featured speaker.
She is a nationally recognized leader in clean energy and community resilience. During this webinar, she will share insights and real-world examples of how communities are strengthening energy security and improving preparedness for extreme weather events.
