It is with deep sadness that we announce Timmy Wayne Little, 66, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away peacefully at his home on May 13, 2026.
Timmy was born in Roanoke Rapids on November 1, 1959, to the late James and Beatrice Little.
Timmy did a lot of construction work laying lines, until becoming disabled due to a fall. As a child, Timmy admired his dad driving race cars, and his love for watching them never waned. From watching Figure 8 races to the Chantilly Speedway, to NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt, it was one of his favorite pastimes. He was an avid lover of basketball, and enjoyed watching teams play for the win, and an avid lover of music, with some of his favorite artists being Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, The Allman Brothers Band, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. His love for music also gave him the opportunity to run the soundboard for The Lady Luck Band.

In addition to his parents, Timmy was also preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis Goddard; brothers, Butch Edwards and Mickey Little; sister-in-law, Donna M. Little; his former partner, the mother of Little Timmy, Tonya Clements, and his fur-girl, Meow Meow.
Timmy leaves to cherish his memory his beloved son, Timothy “Little Timmy” Little; daughter, Amanda Grace Woodard; brother, James Little; sister, Connie Bridgers (Johnny); sister-in-law, Melanie Little; nieces, nephews, and many extended family and friends; and his two feline companions, Bean and Whiskers—all who will miss him dearly.
A private Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
