Robin Draper Harris Harrison, 78, of Roanoke Rapids passed away on Friday, May 3rd, 2024.

Robin was born on March 26, 1946 in Halifax County, the daughter of the late May Davis Liles and Person Frizzell Harris and was the youngest of 8 children. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Dwight Colon Harrison; her son Kelly Harrison; her parents; her brothers Bobby and Tom Harris; and her sisters Ann, Alice, Sarah, and Cornelia. 

Robin is survived by her daughter Melissa Harrison of Wilson; her grandchildren, Kaitlin and Sydney Warren of Greenville; her sister Kay Jones of Fletcher, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Robin formally owned Rosemary Gin where she cherished her customers and found fulfillment in helping others. 

She attended Smith United Methodist Church and made many wonderful friends and loved her church family. She was a wonderful, kind, and loving mother, grandmother, and sister who adored her grandchildren more than anything. She loved her cat, Elvis, who was her faithful companion and source of comfort. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service.  The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM.   Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery.  Friends may sign the online register by visiting www.hockadayfs.com
