Edward “Eddie” Berry Cooke Jr. 55 of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away at his home on Saturday March 9, 2024.  Eddie was born on August 20, 1968, in Roanoke Rapids.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Raymond and Annie Mae Woodruff, Bernard Cooke, Louise C. and B.W. Brown and his uncle’s Ray Woodruff and Mike Woodruff.

Eddie is survived by his parents Berry and Rosa Cooke of Yorktown Va., his brother Derick Cooke of Yorktown Va., his wife Pam Clark, stepdaughter Jennifer Lewin and step grandchildren Kaden and Brody Lewin of Myrtle Beach, SC, his former son-in-law Aaron Lewin of Kentucky , his aunts Carolyn (Wayne) Allen, Rebecca McConkey, Wanda (Jimmy) Vaughan and Debbie (Lynn) Medlin, his uncle’s Tommy Cooke and Malcom (Carla) Cooke, cousins Crystal, Kristi, Lori, Kelly, and David and his K-9 best friend “Maddie.”

Eddie was an avid Tarheel and Carolina Panthers fan and he loved playing 500 rummy with his family and friends.

The family will have a visitation on Wednesday March 20, 2024, at Hockaday Funeral & Cremations from 12:00pm to 1:30pm. A graveside service will follow at 2:00pm in Cedarwood Cemetery at 2pm. Pastor Randy Martin will be presiding.
