William Paul Duckett Jr., 78 of Littleton, passed away on Sunday November 12, 2023, at Northampton Nursing & Rehabilitation in Jackson, NC.
Mr. Duckett was born on October 11, 1945, in Asheville, NC, the son of the late W. Paul Duckett Sr. and Ruby P. Duckett. He was also preceded in death by his brother Steven (Steve) Douglas Duckett.
Mr. Duckett was dedicated to church, loved recording sermons, getting them out on the internet for those who could not attend, played basketball for East Carolina University and he enjoyed working on computers.

He is survived by wife Margie Edwards Duckett, his children Lisa Duckett Harrell (Rob) and children, Jayson Duckett and Tim Webb (Kari) and children. His sister Carotta Stone of Reidsville, NC, brothers Jimmy Duckett (Ann) Gibsonville NC, David Duckett (Sue) of Raleigh, NC and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special Thank You to Northampton Nursing & Rehabilitation and Gentiva Hospice for their wonderful care during this time.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday November 18, 2023, in Antioch Christian Church Littleton with Dr. Mark Weathington officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:00am.
