Virginia “Jenny Sue” Sue Liles King, 72, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2023, at her home.
Jenny Sue was born September 11, 1950, in Halifax County to the late Willie Leon “Pop” Liles and Undine Isles Liles.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Wendy King; her sister, Linda Pittard; her brother-in-law, Johnny Etheridge; her daughter-in-law, Sherry King.

Jenny Sue was a member of Tabor United Methodist Church.
She was a very loving mother, grandmother and sister, a wonderful cook and caregiver.
Jenny Sue was a very loving, caring and happy person. She was too good for herself.
Jenny Sue is survived by her sons, Stewart Wayne King and Rodney King both of Littleton; her grandsons, Stewart Wayne King, Jr. and David King; her brothers and sisters, H.L. Liles and his wife Barbara of Zebulon, Barbara Ann Green and her husband Henry of Roanoke Rapids, Rose Marie Inscoe and her husband C.D. of Littleton and Ava Faye Etheridge of Youngsville and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 6, 2023, in the chapel of Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service with Pastor Nancy Palmer officiating.
Burial will follow at Tabor United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 1:30 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.
