Tammy Ann Llaneta, 51, of Roanoke Rapids passed away Saturday, March 25, 2023 at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville.

Tammy was born September 3, 1971 in Halifax County to the late Edward Cain and Shirley Lynch Cain. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Terry Lee Dawes and her grandmother, Virgie King.

Tammy was a loving wife, mother, aunt, sister and friend. She was the love of Kenny’s life. She loved everybody, her pride and joy was her daughter Tiffany. Tammy was always present with a smile and always available to listen.

Tammy is survived by her husband, Kenny Llaneta; her mother-in-law, Carolyn Carter; her children, Tiffany Ray Llaneta and Ashley Taylor Nicole Casey; her foster daughter, Candace Nicole Hancock; her brothers, Robert Lassiter of Scottsville, KY and Wayne Lassiter of Roanoke Rapids; her sister, Stephanie Renea Bennett and her husband Jonathan of Henderson; her sisters-in-law, Brandy Renee Carpenter  and Melanie Kaye Johnston; her nieces and nephews, Michael Lee Collier and his wife Julie, Rodney Lee Collier and his wife Heather, Jessica Lassiter, Lisa Lassiter Jones, Tyler Cain, Mallory Bennett, Tanner Bennett and Ethan Whittington.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 29, 2023, in the chapel of Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service with Pastor Andy Sloan officiating. Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at the funeral home and other times at the home.
