Jackie Belinda Tidwell Wheeler, 66, of Pendleton, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022 in ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville. 

Born and raised in Weldon, NC, she was a graduate of Weldon High School. 

Many may remember Jackie from the bowling alley on the Avenue. 

She was a talented bowler, as well as being a long time league member. 

In her younger days she played softball and as an MVP helped lead her team to several league championships throughout the east coast. 

She spent most of her working career at Patch Rubber in Roanoke Rapids. 

Jackie loved her family and was very devoted to them. 

She was an animal lover and had many dogs and a few cats during her life. They were like her children. 

She was a loving wife and friend to many. She never complained and always saw the good in others. 

She will be missed by many. 

Surviving include her husband Glenn Brooks Wheeler, her sister Debbie Britt (Sherrod) of Pendleton, her brother Danny Tidwell of Severn, her nieces Celena Pope of Severn, Alana Pope of Roanoke Rapids, Michelle Stickel (Clint) of IN and Sarah Britt of IN, her great niece Callie Edwards of Roanoke Rapids, and many extended family members.  

The family will have a private celebration of life at a later date.
