Susan Denise Price-Ivey, 53, of Roanoke Rapids passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

Susan was born September 21, 1967 in Halifax County to the late Marion Jackson “M.J.” Price and Barbara Inscoe Price-Burton; her grandparents, Claude and Lucille Inscoe and Finley and Lena Price.

Susan was a former employee of the Quality Shop, hairdresser. Susan was a member of South Rosemary United Methodist and a graduate of Roanoke Rapids High School.

Susan is survived by her son, Jacob Scott Ivey; her brother Mason J. Price and his wife Lauren; her step-father, Bill Burton; her niece Macie T. Price; her granddaughter, Lettie Ivey all of Roanoke Rapids; special friends, Marsha Collier and Frank Shearin; several cousins, aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 14, 2021 at South Rosemary United Methodist Church with Rev. Sue Owens and Rev. Randy Martin officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service and other times at the home of Mason and Lauren Price.
