Helen A. Kahler, 79, of Roanoke Rapids passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at home.
Helen was born November 26, 1940 in Columbus, MS to the late Harold Eugene Arthur and Corrie Lee Britt Arthur. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Kahler; her sister, Patsy ellis; her brother, Harold Arthur, Jr.
Helen was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and friend. Helen was a generous person with a great sense of humor, she loved to play jokes on others and had a wonderful laugh. Helen also loved taking trips with her daughters.
Helen is survived by her children, Ramona Carole Ricks and her husband Joel of Roanoke Rapids, Cindy Ellis of Fort Meyers, FL and Jimmy Ellis of Roanoke Rapids; six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 24, 2020 at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Francis Kyle officiating.
