Harvey Loy Dickens, 88, of Littleton passed away Monday, June 1, 2026, at Autumn Care of Nash.

Harvey was born September 27, 1937 in Halifax County to the late Rufus and Alice Dickens Dickens. 

Harvey was loving, kind, even tempered, honest and never complained. He loved all sports and played all sports, and was a good athlete. Harvey liked the Redskins, Dodgers and Dale Earnhardt and going to the dirt track.

Harvey is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years Edna Dickens; his daughter, Jill Pulley; his step-children, Audrey Hurst and her husband Rick, Angela Isles and her husband Earl, David Isles and his wife Robin and Mark Isles and his wife Traci; His brother, Waymon “Boots” Dickens; his grandchildren, Justin (Alyssa) and Lindsey; his step-grandchildren, Patrick, Johnathan and his wife Megan, Jordan and his wife Mary, Sammy and his wife Jordan, Matt, Zach and his wife Tina and Lucas (Samantha); his great-grandchildren, Bryar, Payton and Avery; his step great-grandchildren, Penelope, Lincoln, Zaden, Zaxton and Zander.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at Corinth Methodist Church with Rev. Becky Turner officiating. 

Burial will follow in the church cemetery. 

The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 8:30 P.M. Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service.
