Ronnie H. Hamilton

12/13/1943 – 5/16/2020

Ronnie H. Hamilton, 76 of Roanoke Rapids passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2020.  Mr. Hamilton was born on December 13, 1943 to the late Ivy Fletcher Hamilton and Clara Bell Hamilton and was the widower of Ann Prince Hamilton.

Mr. Hamilton served our country during the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Army.  He was a lifelong member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

 Surviving include his stepson Keith Wayne Gordon and wife Candy of Richmond, VA; his step grandchildren Caitlyn Gordon and Celeb Wright; his niece & nephews:  Mike Whitby and wife Maria, Mark Whitby and wife Lee, and Holly Whitby; his great nieces and nephews:  Jonathan Whitby and wife Dana, Dustin Pruitt, Jessica Coleman and husband Charlie, Eden Whitby, Benjamin Whitby, Samuel Whitby, Marah Whitby, and Jamie Whitby; and his great great nephew and niece:  Landon Whitby and Devon Whitby. 

Mr. Hamilton is also preceded in death by his sister Janice Hamilton.

A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 19th in Crestview Cemetery with Pastors Francis Kyle and Randy Martin officiating.
