Russell Paul Rose, 68, of Roanoke Rapids died May 27, 2019 in his home.

Mr. Rose was born July 18, 1950, in Halifax County, the son of Howard Paul and Edna Taylor Rose.  

He served in the US Army, and was a retired security guard.

Survivors include his daughter, Jamie Rose; grandson, Jacob Bullock; his beloved dog, Lucky; sisters, Ramona Jeanette Waugh (Larry), Sharon Tucker; and brothers, Howard Rose and Doug Rose.

In addition to his parents, a brother, Bobby Rose, preceded him in death.  

Mr. Rose requested to be cremated and a private service will be held at a later date.
