Cynthia Coyne Tripp, 64, of Halifax, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026 in VCU Medical Center. 

Mrs. Tripp was born on March 17, 1961 in Roanoke Rapids. 

She is preceded in death by her father Joseph Donald Coyne.

Surviving include her husband Franklin Danny Tripp, her mother Yvonne Drewey Coyne, her daughters Kaitlyn Koch (Taylor) of Virginia Beach and Allison Blackman (Josh) of Darlington; her brother Joseph Coyne, Sr. (Pam); her sister Renee Humphrey (James) of Roanoke Rapids; and her grandchildren Addison Buff Koch and Emma Cathrine Koch.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service with Rev. Randy Martin officiating. 

The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 PM prior to the service at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service.
