Gary Eugene Birdsong, 81 of Knightdale, North Carolina passed away peacefully on Thursday February 27, 2025.  

Gary was born on May 22, 1943, in Halifax County. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Rufus and Margarett Birdsong and sister Vickie Birdsong Price.

He is survived by his son Shane Birdsong, daughter Angel Marie Birdsong, grandchildren Aleisha, Josh, Jake, Hailey, 4 great grandchildren, nieces Terry Lewis (Billy), Cathy Jones (Mark), Cristel Vaughan (Chris), great nephews and nieces Billy, April, Steven, Bryan and Jaci.

Gary loved Harley-Davidson motorcycles, but most important he loved spreading the gospel of Jesus on college campuses in the triangle area.

The family will have a graveside service on Tuesday March 4, 2025, at 11:00am in Cedarwood Cemetery. Pastor Jason Yeatts will be presiding.
