Mr. Donald Payne Blanton, 64, of Macon Price Rd. Garysburg, died Wednesday May 1, 2013 at Halifax Regional Medical Center. Mr. Blanton was born September 9, 1948 to the late Robert Blanton, Sr. and Gladys Jordan Blanton. Mr. Blanton worked for many years as a route salesman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers R.D. Blanton, Jr. and John Blanton.

Cody Wayne Cutler, 19, of Roanoke Rapids died Thursday, April 25th, 2013. Cody was born March 10, 1994 in Cumberland County, North Carolina. He was a member of the ROTC at Roanoke Rapids High School, a gun enthusiast, and enjoyed four wheelers, motorcycles, spending time with friends, and he loved sports. Cody was preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents, Q.J. and Eloise Stephenson; his paternal grandfather, Herman Munn, Sr.
