Geraldine Rowell Fowler, 74, died at her home Thursday, November 29, 2018, in Roanoke Rapids.

Ms. Fowler was the daughter of the late Raymond Ellis and Louise Cox Rowell, born in Halifax County, November 12, 1944. She was alsp preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Dwight Fowler.

She was a graduate of Gaston High School and then worked for many years at the Daily Herald and Lynch’s Office Supply.  

Surviving are her brother, Marvin Rowell, Sr. of Garysburg, and Carman Harrison; nephew, Marty Rowell and wife, Susan, also of Garysburg; great nieces, Stacy Rowell and Tracie Rowell. Also surviving is her great nephew, Danny Rowell.  

Rev. Randy Martin will conduct funeral services in the Chapel at Askew’s Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow Cedarwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, December 3, 2018, from 6-7:30 pm.
