Claudy Linfent Rose, Jr., 88, died Saturday, April 11, 2020, at Northampton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Jackson.
Linfent was born, April 27, 1931, in Northampton County, son to the late Claudy Linfent Rose Sr. and Hettie Belle Matthews Rose.
He was a farmer and involved in farming all his life. In addition to his parents, Linfent was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Flythe Rose.
Surviving are his children; Brenda Parks and husband, Jerry, of Margarettsville, Stevie Rose of Conway, David Rose and his fiancé, Karen Simmons, of Margarettsville, Pam Riddick and husband, Tim, of Pendleton; sisters, Pearl Dunbar and husband, Wayne, of Winterville, Dorothy Flythe and husband, George, of Creeksville, Addie Baird of Charlotte and his brother, Donald Rose and wife, Eva, of Margarettsville. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
The family will have a private graveside service.
