Joyce Gray Piercy 74, of Littleton died Monday March 11, 2013 at her home.

Mrs. Piercy was born in Amityville, NY to the late Harry and Florence Wilkins Gray.

She is also preceded in death by a great grand son Brad Lee Shanahan

She was a long time active member of Lake Gaston Baptist Church in Littleton.

Surviving is her Husband Ernest L. Piercy, Sr., her two daughters Tammy Piercy Wade of Roanoke Rapids and Melissa Piercy Gordan and her husband Robert of Chesapeake, Va., her son Ernest L. Piercy, Jr. and his wife Cindy W. Piercy of Chesapeake, Va., five grand children Meighan Shanahan, Lindsey Piercy, Brandon Piercy, Joshua Watkins and Corey Gordon and two great grand children Wesley Shanahan and Kaleigh Berman.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday March 14, 2013 at 2 P.M. at Lake Gaston Baptist Church in Littleton with Rev. Todd Stout officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The Family will receive friends Thursday from 1 P.M. until service time at the Church.

Arrangements are being handled by Askew Funeral and Cremation services in Roanoke Rapids.
