Mary Lou Shaw Etheridge 77, of 186 Hummingbird Lane Littleton, NC died Saturday January 21, 2012 at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
Mrs. Etheridge was a native of Weldon and was the daughter of the late Charles Marks and Ruth Boseman Shaw.
Mrs. Etheridge was an active member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Littleton. Her favorite thing was spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of over 58 years Robert J. “Bob” Etheridge; her daughter Susan E. Kidd and her husband Frank of Wilson; son Charlie Etheridge and his wife Colleen of Macon, GA.; her sister Betty Ann Bedsworth and her husband Rev. Ellis Bedsworth of Greenville; seven grand children Cate Etheridge, 2nd Lt Mitchell Etheridge and his wife Mary Ellen, Amelia Etheridge, Austin Etheridge, David Tripp, Mary Beth Tripp and Tobi Nestor and her husband Matt; a niece and a nephew.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 23, at 2 P.M. at Calvary United Methodist Church in Littleton with Rev. Stan Lewis and Rev. Jim Pearson officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
There will be a meal served at 12 Noon in the fellowship hall for the family and friends. The family will be receiving friends during the meal and after until service time.
