The Roanoke Rapids Police Department is investigating multiple car break-ins over the past two days. 

Interim Captain of Investigations Morgan Worrell said surveillance footage captured a person pulling on vehicle door handles in the area of Miles Street but the department has had vehicle break-in reports spanning from the 300 block of Jackson Street to the 900 block of Rapids Street. 

The department is asking the public to review residential surveillance cameras during the night and early morning hours of Monday through today and report any suspicious activity. 

Other areas include Mina Street, West Eighth Street, the 600 block of Vance Street and 700 block of Franklin Street.
