The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of catalytic converters from a Scotland Neck business last month.

Lieutenant Shane Guyant said there were about seven converters stolen from vehicles at Southeastern Electrical Wholesalers off Highway 903. The total value was approximately $500.

The sheriff's office responded to the crime on June 28.
