Trillium Health Resources will welcome Halifax County to the catchment area on Wednesday. The addition will increase the region served by Trillium to 27 counties.
The county board of commissioners voted to go with Trillium as its local management entity and managed care organization for mental health services in August.
“As the local government agency responsible for managing specialty care for individuals with substance use, mental health, and intellectual/development disabilities, we are committed to helping our communities strengthen foundations of well-being,” the company said in a statement today.
“One of Trillium’s priorities is to be part of the communities we serve so that we can understand the diverse needs of each population in our catchment area,” it said. “Trillium has already reached out to key partners in Halifax County to help determine any gaps to address immediately. We are in the process of reaching out to all providers currently located in or serving residents in Halifax County.”
As a part of Trillium, Medicaid members and state-funded recipients in Halifax County will have access to the company’s Member and Recipient Service Line — 1-877-685-2415.
The call center handles referrals to a network of providers, directs requests to the Neighborhood Connections team, and collects complaints or grievances. “We are committed to the No Wrong Door principle — individuals may either contact Trillium or any providers directly for the help they need.”
Trillium’s website has pages dedicated to the Halifax County realignment with sections personalized for members and providers.
