Two men face meth and fentanyl charges after police responded to a residence on Sunset Avenue in the Chaloner Park area Friday afternoon.

Detective C. Batchelor charged Tyler Harris, 30, with possession of schedule II and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He also charged Wayne Parker, 33, with possession of schedule I, possession of drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance.

Harris and Parker, both of Roanoke Rapids, received Tuesday district court dates. Harris received a $5,000 bond and Parker an $8,000 bond.

Martin said the public is encouraged to continue to report any suspicious activity as the complaints assist officers in investigations.
