Beginning Monday, all visits to the Halifax County Health Department clinic will be limited to patients only or one parent-guardian accompanying their child under the age of 18.

The decision is based on the increased positive cases of COVID-19.

Visitors who accompany patients to the clinic will be required to remain in their vehicles. 

“The change in our visitation policy is in the effort to continue prioritizing the safety of everyone and aid in preventing the spread of COVD-19,” the health department said.
