A Las Vegas woman indicted on multiple counts of Medicaid fraud stemming from healthcare businesses in Roanoke Rapids and Ahoskie will have an initial court appearance later this month in Wilmington.

Federal court records indicate the hearing for Latisha Reese Harron is set for June 25 at 9:30 a.m. before United States Magistrate Judge Robert B. Jones Jr.

Proceedings for her husband, Timothy Harron, have not been set, according to court records.

The couple were named in a multi-count indictment charging they submitted fraudulent Medicaid billings as far back as 2011.

Proceeds from the fraud case exceeded $13 million from which a corporate jet, a luxury sports car and items of expensive clothing and jewelry were purchased along with several pieces of real estate in the Northampton County area.
