The scheduled unveiling of the Sarah Keys Evans Plaza at the Martin Luther King Park has been postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date.

The ceremony had been scheduled for April 18, which is Evans’s 91st birthday.

Organizers of the project said it was on schedule and had been looking forward to the day.

The ceremony was postponed due to public gathering measures surrounding COVID-19.
