Noah Joyner and Brandon Fornes took the oath of enlistment into the United States Marine Corps on the steps of the Halifax County Courthouse this evening during the town of Halifax’s Fourth of July celebration.
Sergeant Ricky Hooper administered the oath.
Other highlights included the delegation scene from First for Freedom, members of Lizard Lick Towing signing autographs and the annual fireworks show by Halifax Fire and Rescue.
Attendance estimates were estimated at around 15,000.
