The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office has been investigating numerous break-ins in the Darlington and Enfield communities. 

Chief Deputy Scott Hall said in a statement the perpetrators have been targeting farm shops, vehicles and personal sheds. 

The items stolen are chainsaws, pole saws, small propane tanks, weed eaters, air compressors and generators.
