Two Hollister teens were arrested today in business break-ins which occurred in the community October 13.

Detective Willie Murphy Jr. of the Halifax County Sheriff's Office said in a statement Jaquez Markese Lynch, 16, and Cameron Shamon Brinkley, 17, face two counts of breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and possession of stolen goods.

Investigation stemmed from reports taken when business owners arrived to open and discovered their businesses were broken into.

The teens reportedly broke out front door windows and stole an undisclosed amount of money.

A video system at one of the businesses aided in the investigation, Murphy said.

Lynch and Brinkley were jailed on $5,000 bonds. They were assigned November 18 court dates.
