Due to road construction, Medical Center Drive at Halifax Regional Medical Center will be closed to all traffic from Old Farm Road to the helicopter landing pad starting at 8 a.m. Saturday and will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday.

All vehicle traffic, including emergency and delivery vehicles, must enter and exit the Medical Center via the Emergency entrance located off Smith Church Road during this time.

Parking will be prohibited in the far rear employee parking area as well.

Access to all other parking areas will operate as normal.

The parking lot lines located at building 1 are also scheduled to be re-painted during this time but are not expected to interfere with operations.
