Three more people were served warrants this week in Operation Bullseye and more arrests are pending, Halifax County Sheriff Wes Tripp said in a statement this evening.
These investigations were conducted by City County Task Force Agent D.R. Radford and are part of the campaign's effort to target street-level dealers in Halifax County communities through undercover buys. The operation lasted several months.
Those arrested this week were:
Lamont Walter Brown, 38, of Elm Street, Weldon, for possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, sell cocaine, and deliver cocaine.
Brown was given a $1,000 secured bond and confined to the Halifax County Detention Center.
Robert Donte Johnson, 23, of the Medoc area of Enfield, for possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, sell marijuana, and deliver marijuana.
Johnson was given a $4,000 secured bond and confined to the detention center.
Joe Montrell Harper, 28, of South Dennis Street, Enfield, for possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, sell marijuana, and deliver marijuana. Bennett was given a $5,000 bond.
The three have July 22 court dates.
