After being down for about a month, the Halifax County Crimestoppers line is back up.
Captain O.L. Morgan of the Roanoke Rapids Police Department said a problem arose when the organization's finance officer became ill.
Crimestoppers was assigned the same number — 252-583-4444.
A determination on whether to restart the website will be made at a later date.
Crimestoppers also has a Facebook page which can be used to message tips.
