A woman wanted in a Monday car chase surrendered to the Halifax County Sheriff's Office Thursday evening.

Agent D.J. Hundley of the City County Drug Task Force said in a statement Tya Carrie Louise Deloatch turned herself in shortly after 8:30 p.m.

She was served warrants for felony flee to elude arrest, fictitious registration plate, resisting a public officer and speeding.

She was jailed on $3,000 secured bond.

Deloatch was wanted and Deunta Qumae Squire was arrested after he attempted to flee following the chase which ended up yielding pot, pills and a pistol.
