The Roanoke Rapids Police Department reported the following, according to Chief Chuck Hasty:
June 3
Around 3 p.m. Master Officer Roy Ball responded to a larceny call at Walmart.
Loss prevention told the officer Keonna Chante Caine, 21, of Roanoke Rapids, allegedly took items from the store without paying for them.
Ball cited Caine for larceny and possession of stolen goods.
She was released until her court date of July 17.
Around 8:30 p.m., Officer Chris Biggerstaff responded to a larceny call at Walmart.
Loss prevention told Biggerstaff Frederick Lee McCrary, 17, of Roanoke Rapids, had allegedly taken and concealed items while inside the store.
Biggerstaff cited McCray for shoplifting, concealment of goods.
He was released until his court date of July 24.
June 4
Around 1:15 p.m., Officer Jamie Hardy responded to a larceny call at Walmart.
Loss prevention told him Rhonda Leigh Powell and Darrick Hyman, both 42 and both of Scotland Neck, had allegedly taken items from the store without paying for them.
Hardy arrested and charged both with larceny and possession of stolen goods.
They each received $400 bonds and July 13 court dates.

Around 4:30 p.m., Ball responded to an illegal trash-dumping call.
Ball located the address of the suspect from the trash and went to the address to talk with Ross Tearance Tomlinson, 20, of Roanoke Rapids.
During the investigation, Ball discovered drugs and paraphernalia inside the residence.
Tomlinson was cited for possession of schedule VI and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was released until his July 17 court date.
