The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office is investigating another larceny of cleaning products from Dollar General on Bolling Road.

A May 15 larceny from the store marks at least the third one since 2013. The sheriff's office recently made an arrest in one of the thefts.

Detective J.M. Clark said in a statement the latest one occurred around 9 p.m. when video surveillance reportedly captured a person described as a black male enter the store and take a 69-ounce bottle of Tide detergent and two bottles of Johnson & Johnson soap. He reportedly stuffed the items in his pants.

The man, who was of medium complexion and had shoulder length hair, paid for some items and left the store in a green Chrysler Sea Breeze convertible.

He wore dark clothing.
