A Roanoke Rapids man has been charged in Northampton County for sending nude photos to a girl while she was in school.

Captain Chuck Hasty of the Northampton County Sheriff's Office said on April 27 Lieutenant Bo Deloatch received a report that some obscene pictures were sent by cell phone to the victim via Kik Messenger and Instagram.

The victim's sister recognized some of the furniture in the background of the pictures and reportedly named Quinton Terrell Turner, 25, as the alleged suspect.

Deloatch obtained warrants on Turner for disseminating obscenity. 

He was arrested Thursday and given a $5,000 bond.
