The Roanoke Rapids Graded School District will operate on a three-hour delay Friday and will also operate on an early release schedule Saturday.

The Saturday schedule is as follows:

7:30 a.m to 11 a.m. - Chaloner Middle School

8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. - Belmont and Manning Elementary

8:30 a.m. to 12 noon - Roanoke Rapids High School

9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. - Clara Hearne Pre-K Center

Meanwhile, Halifax Regional Medical Center announced the following clinics and services will open at noon Friday unless otherwise noted:

Halifax Works

Physician Billing Office

Roanoke Clinic

Roanoke Valley Internal Medicine

Wound Care Center

Outpatient Physical and Speech Therapy (120 Professional Drive location) will be operating on a delayed schedule as well, opening at 11 a.m.

Mammography will have a two-hour delay and will be open for business at 10 a.m.

All other radiology services will not be affected.

Other known closings and delays:

Cornerstone is closed Friday.

Halifax County courts on two-hour delay.

Halifax County government is on a two-hour delay.

Northampton County Schools are on a two-hour delay.

Northampton County offices delayed until 10 a.m.

Weldon City Schools are on a three-hour delay Friday and will have school on Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.
