A search is under way in Greensville County, Virginia, and Northampton County for a Greensville County deputy last seen driving a marked patrol car in Greensville County Friday morning.
Deputy Percy Lee House, 52, last made contact with the Greensville County Sheriff’s Office about 9:24 a.m. Friday in Skippers, two miles from the North Carolina state line. House is 6 feet, 8 inches tall, weighs 260 pounds and has hazel-colored eyes.
The Greensville Sheriff’s Office sent a “be on the lookout” notice to all Virginia law enforcement agencies around 3 p.m.
The Northampton County Sheriff's Office is assisting Greensville County in the search.

Halifax County Sheriff Wes Tripp Stated “Northampton County Sheriff Jack Smith called around 5 p.m. and asked for assistance and I have sent three Halifax deputies to assist in the search for our fellow law officer”.
Northampton County Deputies has had help from Garysburg, Gaston, Seaboard, Rich Square, Murfreesboro and Halifax County law enforcement in searching throughout the evening.
Northampton County Sheriff's Office Captain Chuck Hasty stated, "We have about 12 total officers out here tonight searching in Northampton. Several officers were sent home and new officers will be coming in in the morning."
The alert said House was wearing a black BDU-type uniform with a full duty belt. Additionally, he was driving a brown Greensville County 2006 Ford Crown Victoria with license plate number 110359L. The car has reflective yellow stripes and is missing its right front hubcap.
