Roanoke Rapids police are looking for the identity of the man in this surveillance photo who allegedly attempted to break into a State Employees Credit Union ATM sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning.

The machine, located on East Tenth Street near CVS, sustained $3,000 in damages, mainly associated with the breaking of the screen.

The damage was reported shortly before 6:45 Saturday morning. The last time the machine was known to be intact was 7:15 p.m. Friday.

No money was taken from the machine.
