A Roanoke Rapids man is being sought for failing to do general contracting after being paid.

Warrants for the arrest of Scott Ryan Gordon of Thelma Road were filed on December 16, Detective Obert Wiltsie of the Halifax County Sheriff's Office said.

The warrants were based on a complaint that he failed to do the work he was paid to do.
