A Roanoke Rapids man faces marijuana charges as well as a charge of possession of a television allegedly stolen from Belmont Elementary School over the Easter break.
Bryan Christopher Buffaloe, 21, of Jeffrey Circle, which is off Robinson Drive, was jailed on $30,000 bond. Roanoke Rapids police charged him following the execution of a search warrant this afternoon. The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the search warrant execution.
Roanoke Rapids police seized six grams of marijuana and a television purportedly stolen from Belmont, which is located about a block and half from Buffaloe’s residence.
Police brought evidence out of the house and then escorted Buffaloe to a patrol car. He was visibly upset having his photo taken and threatened that he would hunt down and do physical harm to the editor of rrspin.com.
Detective Jeff Baggett, left, and Lieutenant O.L. Morgan carry evidence from the house.
Police came out with a few more bags of evidence after Buffaloe was placed into the patrol car.
He faces charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, sell and deliver Schedule VI, possession with intent to sell and deliver Schedule VI, maintaining a vehicle or place to keep a controlled substance and manufacture or sell Schedule VI within 1,000 feet of a school. He was also charged with possession of stolen property.
Police also charged Marquis White, 23, of Woodbridge, Virginia, with simple possession of marijuana.
Roanoke Rapids police say the Belmont break-in investigation continues.
