The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the alleged suspect in a breaking and entering that occurred February 27.

Detective R. Somogyi said Gregory Johnson, who is from Hollister, mainly frequents areas around his home and sometimes Littleton, where the breaking and entering occurred at a commercial storage building.

The victim reported an antique bathtub and sink with faucets, propane cookers and heaters and irrigation pumps were stolen.

Somogyi learned the items were sold to a scrap yard in Halifax County. Further investigation led to warrants against Johnson for breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and possession of stolen goods.
