A Scotland Neck man already on three-years probation was arrested Friday along with his aunt following the execution of a search warrant by town police.

This was the second drug search warrant executed in the past two years at the residence of Markell Wiggins, which is located at 500 Main Street, according to a news release from Sergeant John Tippett of the Scotland Neck Police Department.
Officers, acting on an investigation into the 27-year-old Wiggins that has been conducted since 2008, seized three pounds and three ounces of marijuana and 11.2 grams of cocaine. They also seized digital scales, several boxes of packing materials and a large amount of currency.
Tippett said Wiggins was indicted in 2011 with felony possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and was convicted less than three weeks ago, sentenced to 36-months supervised probation.
Scotland Neck police Friday charged him with felony possession of marijuana, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was jailed on $75,000 bond.

Also arrested was his aunt, Connie Wiggins, who was also charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She received a $4,500 bond.
The have February 20 court dates.
