The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man with outstanding multiple warrants, the most recent being for an armed robbery last month.

Detective O.L. Wiltsie said the armed robbery occurred in the Bush Court area of Roanoke Rapids when Daryl Keith Shearin got a ride from the victim and then allegedly robbed him.

Shearin stands between 5-feet, 10-inches to 6-feet tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds.

He is wanted for multiple outstanding warrants including robbery with a dangerous weapon, larceny of a motor vehicle, felony larceny, obtaining property by false pretense and driving while license revoked.

He is known to frequent the Weldon and Roanoke Rapids areas.
