The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office needs the public’s help in solving the following crimes:

On May 12 officers responded to the 5000 block of Highway 903 in reference to someone shooting into a dwelling. The incident occurred between 1 p.m. and 3:25 p.m. Damages to the home included a window and the interior wall of the residence.

On May 14 the sheriff’s office received a report for a breaking and entering on Hilliard Hux Road. Entry was gained through the side door and the door and doorframe were damaged. Items taken include televisions and electronics.

On May 14 the sheriff’s officers received a report of a Breaking and Entering in the area of Everettes School Road. Entry was gained through the rear door causing damages to the door and doorframe. Items taken include guns, televisions and electronics.
