A Littleton man was jailed without the opportunity for bond following a burglary call last week.

Lieutenant George Evans of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office said around 5 a.m. on April 28 the sheriff’s office responded to a call in the Littleton area of a man trying to get inside the home of his ex-girlfriend.

Deputies P. Massey, C.H. Boden and A. Lewis responded. Boden’s dog Dusko tracked 46-year-old Tyrone Williams in the woods near the home.

Williams was charged with attempted first-degree burglary and domestic criminal trespass.

He has a May 16 court date.
