A 17-year-old Roanoke Rapids boy was charged in an April 8 larceny, according to the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office.

The larceny occurred in the 8000 block of Highway 48. Investigation by Deputy R.E. Wade developed an alleged suspect, Todd Lynch.

Continued investigation by Detective O.L. Wiltsie led to Lynch’s arrest on seven counts of financial card theft, one count of larceny and one count possession of stolen goods.

Lynch was jailed on $15,000 bond and has a May 23 court date.
