The state Highway Patrol is reporting two fatalities from Thursday, making a total of four within the last two days.

Full details on both Thursday fatalities were not immediately available.

One was reported Thursday night on Nelson Bridge Road outside of Enfield when it was reported a vehicle traveling east on Nelson Bridge Road ran off the road to the right and came to rest in a creek.

WRAL reports Rocky Mount police identified the person removed from the car as Britinae Rachelle Whitehead, 21, who had been reported missing earlier in the week.

The TV station reported she was last seen leaving a friend’s house in Enfield Tuesday. The Highway Patrol received the report of the car in the creek around 9:15 Thursday night.

On Thursday afternoon the Highway Patrol responded to Highway 158 about 2.4 miles east of Garysburg where Henry Talley, 34, of Charlotte, died in a two-vehicle collision which was reported around 3:30.

On Wednesday, Tammi Mason, 37, and her 13-year-old son, Tavion, died in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 186 outside Seaboard.
