Major Bruce Temple believes in the show America’s Most Wanted and is going to use it to help find  the last suspect wanted in the September murders of Thomas Tyrone “Tomcat” Davis and his girlfriend Jenlee A. Foster.

“After doing our best to locate him, we were able to make the determination he is away from this area,” Temple, of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office said of Jimmie Lee Mason II.

AMW crews were in the area last week to film the segment on Mason, which will air Friday at 9 p.m. on the Lifetime Network.

The segment, Temple said, is expected to focus on how Foster and Davis were both shot in their home on September 4 and especially the circumstances in which Foster was shot. “Ms. Foster was holding their baby when she was shot. The baby was not harmed during the murders.”

Temple said AMW is a valuable tool for law enforcement and its creator, John Walsh, has respect for law enforcement. “He’s a superior human being in my book. He has had to endure the wrath of evil. He’s awesome to me and he’s put a lot of people away, many of them repeat offenders. How many lives he’s saved we’ may never know.”

Temple declined to discuss the places investigators have searched for Mason. “We hope the show reaches someone that may not know what he’s done or those who may have an idea of what he’s done and where he may be.”

The show, Temple said, is also expected to bring to light more details than have been forthcoming about the murders of the boyfriend and girlfriend.

Rewards have been offered for information leading to Mason’s arrest and anyone with information is encouraged to call Crimestoppers at 252-583-4444.
